5K Run
Our 44th Annual AVS 5k Run, the oldest professional Society run on our planet, will be held with our AVS 72nd International Symposium & Exhibition in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The start and finish are within walking distance of the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. With your entry fee, you will receive a run t-shirt, race number, and awards.

Registration Cancellation Policy
Registration Cancellation Policy: All registration cancellations must be sent in writing to Yvonne Towse (yvonne@avs.org) by October 12, 2026, for a full refund of less than $100, or $50 for Students/Daily cancellation fee. After that date, no refunds will be given without a valid reason, and no refunds or credits will be given for no-shows. In addition, if you cancel your Symposium registration or receive a refund and you paid for a Platinum Membership, your membership dues must be retained to keep your Platinum Membership active. Please note that all refunds will be processed within 30 days of the meeting.
All exhibitor cancellations must be sent in writing to AVS Exhibits (exhibits@avs.org) by October 12, 2026, for a full refund, less the $50 cancellation fee, for ‘Booth Staff Plus Technical Session’ registrants (there is no cancellation fee for ‘Booth Staff Only’ registrants). After that date, no refunds will be given without a valid reason, and no refunds or credits will be given for no-shows. Please note that all refunds will be processed within 30 days following the meeting.
Lost Badge Policy
Lost Badge Policy: There is a $20 fee for replacement badges so please remember to bring your badge and keep it in a safe place throughout the week.
